There is one thing you could do to infinity and beyond, and that’s wear these woolly wonders. They are the proverbial Boom Shaka Laka Laka of socks!
Length measured from toe to heel (this ultra-cozy material will stretch):
$18.00 – $24.00
Machine or hand wash in cold water and hang to dry.
Knitting is a part of everyday life for expert artisans. Ladies in the Himalayas of India have been seen doing so while walking a cow, balancing a bucket of water on their head or laughing with friends around cups of chai.
The Hamesha socks are brown with emerald green, black, and maroon details. They contain the traditional Himalayan patterns of barra gow (big pendant) and bulabul station (nightingale station), which are patterns that have existed in this community for centuries.
Footnote: These socks are hand-made by real people. For this reason, each pair may include subtle variations in color and pattern details from those seen on the photos. The overall color scheme and design will remain very similar.
