DVTD is created to give back, where anyone can let their shopping shape the world. We’re a for-profit business who partners with other for-profit businesses who collectively use our profits to give back in pretty amazing ways.
Our Brand Partners Give Back in Amazing Ways
At the core of how DVTD gives back is selling products that already give back. We refer to these social entrepreneurs as our “brand partners,” because we truly partner together to help amplify and accelerate our collective impact.
Simply put, a brand partner already offers great products on their own. And it’s already part of their DNA to give back to causes and organizations that they’re passionate about, before getting involved with DVTD. DVTD in no way dictates how or to whom they give, but we do offer a platform with the hope that a partnership will help them achieve more.
Whenever one of these products is purchased through the DVTD marketplace, it is directly supporting the giving that these individual brands do on their own. By bringing together all kinds of different brand partners, a single shopper has the ability to support multiple causes with just one order. That’s what we mean we say “Let your shopping shape the world!”
DVTD Gives Back, Too!
In addition to all the giving done by our brand partners, DVTD, as a company, also gives back to various causes. Every month, we spotlight a Cause of the Month that will receive all of our giving efforts. You can learn more about the Cause of the Month here.
In summary, here are the two ways that DVTD gives back:
- 1% of all sales is given back to the Cause of the Month. We give from our topline revenue, not our profits or proceeds, recognizing that we give first.
- $3 of every monthly membership fee of our Preferred Customers and Promoters is given back to the Cause of the Month.
